I’m trying! It’s hard when I have one dream but what’s best for my fam may not be my dream 😭

Thank you for saying this and showing what it looks like to find the positives where you're at, even if you still think the future may hold homeschooling for you all. I can relate to that sensing/waiting for something to come, but not feeling like the Lord is bringing you to that season yet.

I'd love to stay full-time at home with my daughter (and eventually homeschool), but have needed to keep working for now. We also have personally felt that daycare wasn't the right option, so I've been navigating work from home with part-time in-home childcare. It can be a lot, and hard to sometimes see all the other moms at home and wish that was where we were at. But it's good for me to realize God has a purpose for this time too, even if it's not forever.

I’m so glad that it resonated! You captured what I was feeling perfectly. It’s hard when you’re not only feel the pressure of unspoken expectations for what is considered right or not but also when you have a genuine desire to do that thing. It is a difficult tension for sure. All we can do is keep praying and consulting with God and moving in the direction that He is leading us

Everyone has different paths they take, we homeschool but it’s not for everyone. Good sharing and connecting with your family.

I’m hoping to join the ranks of the homeschooling in the future! I think I’ve put in in a pedestal in my heart so I’m working through some of that

Don’t put pressure on yourself.
