This was so good. I loved the beginning where you said, "I’m a firm believer that doing little things well over time adds up to greater change down the road." I have this horrible habit of going full on 150% on something, burn out, give up. Working out is a perfect example. I called my son one day after my Mega workout, so proud that I had KILLED IT! He goes, "That's great mom, but that's not sustainable ... maybe take it down a few notches so you can be consistant." My pride was injured, but he was right! Softening our goals is sometimes much more sustainable than being a beast. LOL! Loved this! Thank you.

It’s so funny when our kids turn the tables on us lol! I’m not really competitive but I’m competitive with myself so this is a hard skill I’m learning lol

So funny … the funny thing is he’s just like me but he’s very disciplined (that he gets from his dad). I’m so competitive with myself and others. I don’t like that about me because I don’t just enjoy things … I’m too intense. That’s why I loved this post … it made me look at softening goals! Really appreciated it!

This is my third or fourth time going through the Bible in a year and I’m really struggling with the OT too! I normally enjoy it, but this time around, I’m having a hard time focusing and getting into it.
