I can’t wait until my daughter is old enough to enjoy coloring so we can do it together 🥹 Also, wanted to let the know that needlepoint (though a bit expensive to get into) is a great hobby for moms! Once your canvas is set up it’s so easy to pick up, do a little, and put down when a tiny human needs you 😂 I love working on a canvas while my daughter plays!
There are a ton on Etsy! I think they’re often more affordable. Penny Linn and Morgan Julia Designs have some as well I think. Unwind Studio has some super affordable kits as well!
I love hobbies but they can also frustrate me sometimes. I have a naturally creative streak in me and tend to be too much of a perfectionist lol. Trying to let go of that and just enjoy the process. I am currently enjoying reading at the pool while my kids swim, watercolor painting with my girls and also learning some simple cross-stitch. Crafts have been good for the mind and soul in this season of life!
I feel like we are so similar! I am the same way so I have found that multiple little hobbies to bounce around from helps me feel like I don’t have to zero in as much on one.
Those sound like wonderful hobbies! Do you watercolor with a workbook or just free paint?
I've been using a book, it helps me feel like I know what I'm doing lol. I have done some free style things but then land up over thinking it and not loving the end result. I think I need to just stick to some tutorials until I'm confident.

Do you have any specific needle point kits to start with?? Great idea!
